If I could give zero stars, I would. The pickup took 5 MONTHS to repair and within 13 miles of leaving the shop we had a major engine failure that resulted in $5,000 worth of out-of-pocket expenses becaaue the shop Ruebens took it to for the diesel repairs failed to fix it properly (Absolute Automotive). Of course the insurance company didn't want to pay becaaue they just gave Ruebens over $10,000 to fix the pickup. Long story short, we are STILL having issues with the pickup and get nothing but a ton of excuses from Rueben. It's so bad we are taking him to court.
Mediocre work, lots of excuses, very slow. Not worth the money. And if you point out substandard work, more excuses. I have used this shop twice. First time was decent. Minor work done. Second time was irritating. Promises finish times and doesn't follow thru. Incomplete work.
Please save yourself the trouble.
The owner is extremely nice and does really good work! Very reasonable prices. Goes out of his way to make sure you're happy with the work he's done
If your looking for a body shop to do a sloppy half assed job call Reuben's.
Over 8 years we have had body and other services performed by Ruben's. The work was always done very well, promptly, and most important, at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend this business. In fact, although we now live in the Boulder area. we still take our cars to Ruben's for service.
