We were in the rocky ford area looking at the town establishments as we have just bought a house and I being older had to use the ladies room so I noticed a coffee shop so I figured I'd use the ladies room and then see what they had to offer however cute and clean the inside was the staff refused to let me use the restroom stating it was only for customers little did they know I was about to be but after feeling belittled by the refusal of the restroom I now will not be a customer.I feel that policy is counterproductive for a business unless your able to read minds to know if every person that walks in is or isn't going to purchase anything,it's also a sign of bad customer service to deny use of a restroom as anyone who walks in should be considered a customer your coffe shop is cute but it's definitely not the ritz!
I stopped on my road trip to get a regular dark roast coffee. It cost me $3.41! I got charged an extra quarter too when I asked to leave some room for cream! He didn't tell me that would cost extra! I have been charged more for soy milk but never just to add a tablespoon of cream! I honestly have never spent so much on a cup of drip coffee anywhere I have been in the US. And it really wasn't that tasty! For almost $4, I should have been given a cappuccino or fancy latte!!
